Job description

We are seeking skilled Emergency Medicine physicians for a locums assignment in Texas. This opportunity is ideal for those looking for flexible scheduling, with a preference for night shift coverage. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine and hold an active Texas or Compact medical license.

Key Details:

Start Date: ASAP
Estimated Length of Assignment: Now – August 2025 (potential for extension)
Shift Schedule: 12-hour shifts; 12-14 shifts per month preferred, with a focus on night shifts. Day/night split may be considered.
Minimum Shifts Required: 3-4 shifts per month.

Setting: Hospital Emergency Department with MD/DO Physician and APP staffing model
Annual Volume: 23,000 patients
Patient Load: 22 patients per day
Trauma Level: Level 4
EMR System: PICIS
