Emergency Medicine Physician Needed in Texas

Start Date: 7/18/24
Contract Length: 6 months, ongoing
Shift Details: 7a-7p and 7p-7a most likely, still TBD

Work Details:
· Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Prefer FT
· Patient Population/Age: All ages

Practice Setting:
• Hospital

Travel and lodging are covered!

Requirements:
· Board Certification: ABEM or FM. ABEM preferred.
· License Required: Active TX license required; will accept IMLC
· DEA: Required
· Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS all required for FM. If EM boarded, then ATLS can be expired/you just to show proof of having ATLS previously
· Minimum Experience Required: Completion of an ACGME or AOA approved postgraduate training program in FM or EM. Certification by the applicable medical board. If FM, must be able to demonstrate active practice in an ED setting with a census exceeding 10,000 visits per year within the last 2 years

• FM or EM Boarded
• Contract potential for extension
• No call
