Texas $280/HR Free Standing Emergency Medicine Need

Job description

Shift times are 7a-7p or 7p-7a
Shift times are 6a-6p or 6p-6a
Schedule would be 6-10 ER shifts per month
Provider needs to be willing to commit to a minimum of six shifts per month
Prefer candidates who can float between sites
Physician will see anywhere from 1.9 to 2.2 per hour
Must be able to demonstrate 1 year of experience in an emergency department, intensive care using or primary care setting within past 24 months
Most likely 12 hour shifts, possibility of 24 hour shifts.
Physician is expected to provide those services necessary to ameliorate minor illnesses or injuries and asses all patients in order to determine whether more definitive or acute stabilizing services are necessary.
Local anesthesia, regional nerve blocks, CPR, electrocardiography, arthrocentesis, nasogastric or orogastric tube placement, anoscopy, tonometry, slit lamp examination with or without foreign body removal, bladder catheterization, epistaxis control, fracture/dislocation immobilization, emergency/urgent closed reduction of fracture or dislocation, cervical immobilization, nail trephination, injection or bursa or joint, foreign body removal, incision and drainage of abscess, wound management and repair
