Job description

Emergency Medicine locum opportunity in Watertown, SD available. This is a high-volume ED role with consistent monthly coverage.

Schedule:
• Start: September 2026
• Ongoing coverage
• 24-hour shifts
• ~6–8 shifts per month

Practice:
• Acute Care Hospital
• ~13,000 annual volume
• 35–45 patients per day
• All-ages patient population
• APP support (10a–10p)
• Hospitalist team handles admissions
• EMR: CPSI (orders) + T-System (charting)

Requirements:
• Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician or Family Medicine with ED experience
• Active SD license or IMLC (licensing not available)
• DEA required

Credentialing:
• Standard timeframe
