Eastern Pennsylvania- Emergency Medicine


Hospital is seeking BC/BE Emergency Medicine physicians to join a dedicated team of physicians at main hospital and 2 other local facilities. Main Hospital has a rapidly growing 40,000 visit ED with 64-slice CT scanner and digital diagnostic radiology in the department. We have an ED residency and host interns and medical students. All departments offer excellent physician and advanced practitioner coverage.

Option #1:

Annual Volume - 40,000
Shifts - 10 hours (7a-5p, 10a-8p, 4p-2a, 9p-7a)
Fast Track - yes - 2p-12a
Compensation - $266,000 with Incentive plan +10%
Patients per hour - 1.7-2.0
Additional info - Emergency medicine resident and family practice residents rotate through the department every month.


Option #2:
Annual Volume - 36,000 per year
Shifts - 9 hours (7a-4p, 10a-7p, 3p-12a, 5p-2a, 10p-7a)
Fast Track - yes - opens when needed
Compensation - $266,000 with Incentive plan +10%
Patients per hour - 1.8-2.0
Additional info - We have one designated night physician who works an average of 15-16 nights per month.

Option #3:

Annual Volume - 15,000
Shifts - all 12 hour - 7a to 7p and 7p to 7a
Fast Track - yes
Compensation - $266,000 with Incentive plan +10% (with $15,000 travel stipend)
Patients per hour - 1.5 to 2 patients per hour
