Facility in Harrisburg, PA seeking EM locums coverage Rates: $350/hr Opportunity Highlights Flexible Schedule: Work 9-hour shifts with a mix of days (6 AM - 3 PM), mids (11 AM - 8 PM), 2 PM shifts (2 PM - 11 PM), and nights (10 PM - 7 AM). Preference given to candidates willing to cover all shift types. Supportive Environment: Work within a mix of physician and APP models. Hospitals frequently accept acute transfers from other regional facilities. EMR System: Utilize Epic for charting and patient management. Quick Privileging: Estimated 60 days for full privileges. Responsibilities Provide high-quality emergency medical care to a diverse patient population (approximately 85% adult, 15% pediatric). Manage a wide range of emergency room cases. Collaborate effectively with APPs and other healthcare professionals. Requirements Education: MD or DO. Board Status: ABEM Board Certified REQUIRED. If Board Eligible, must hold ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience. Licensure: Active Pennsylvania State License required to apply. Certifications: ACLS (BLS and PALS also required for Board Eligible candidates). DEA: Active DEA required. Start Date Estimated start date: October 6, 2025.
