Facility in Pittsburgh, PA seeking Emergency Medicine locums coverage Rates: $315/hr Position Overview This Facility is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician (DO/MD) for a full-time position. The physician will provide emergency medical care, handle a variety of patient cases, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes. Hospital Profile # of Beds: 329 Trauma Level Designation: None Annual Patient Volume: 54,000 Pediatrics: 7% of total volume Admission Rate: 25% (~13,500 patients annually) Bed Count in ED: 46 Coverage: 2-6 providers on at a time, depending on the time of day and day of the week EMR System: Sunrise Admissions: Requested by ED physicians and assigned to the receiving unit after the patient leaves the ED Provider Requirements Board Status: Board Certified (BC) Experience: Minimum 2 years State License: Active Pennsylvania Medical License required Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS DEA License: Required CSR License: Not required Additional Notes: Physicians boarded in another specialty may work in the ED if their certification is current. Non-EM boarded physicians must complete a sedation quiz. ABPS EM providers are not accepted.
