Emergency Medicine Physician needed in New Castle, PA.

Job description

Position Overview:

Contract Length: Ongoing
Start Date: As soon as credentialed (approx. 8/1)
Coverage Type: Part-time work
Schedule: 2-3 providers needed, up to 10 shifts each per month. Total of 30 shifts covered each month.
Support Staff:

APP Coverage:
10 AM - 10 PM and 2 PM - 2 AM Monday-Friday
2 PM - 2 AM Saturday-Sunday
Mid-Day Physician Shift: 12 PM - 7 PM

Average Daily Census: 83 patients/day (No trauma)
Patient Age Group: Adults and Pediatrics
Procedures: Provide care in the ED, performing necessary procedures as needed.
Requirements:

Board Certifications Required: Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
State License Required: Pennsylvania (PA)
DEA Required: Yes
CSR Required: No
Years of Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years in Emergency Medicine
Certifications: Not applicable
Credentialing Timeframe:

Timeframe: Approximately 60 days. The client will work to expedite the credentialing process.
Travel and Licensing:

Willing to License: No
Privileges: Full, Temp, ER; the client team will expedite these as quickly as possible.
