ER Coverage in the Glorious Oregon Mountains

Job description

Contract Length: 3-6 shifts per month
Shift Details: 2/3/2025
Schedule: 10a – 10p No Call

Work Details:
Amount of coverage needed per month: Vacation coverage. Must be comfortable working alone – MD is covering 6a-6p so they will be alone from 6p-10p
Patients per day: 10k annual volume per year
EMR: EPIC
Hospital bed size: 25 critical access hospital, 5 bed ICU(Closed)
Special procedures: No procedures are needed. If they do procedures need documentation.
Practice Setting:
Critical Access Hospital
ER Beds: 10
Pt. seen per day: 30-40
Support staffing: minimum 2 RNs on staff at all times
Patient Population: All ages
Clinic Schedule: 8am- 8am (24 hours)

Support services:
12hr ED NP Coverage 1000-2200
24/7 Lab in house
24/7 PBX
24/7 Respiratory in house
24/7 On-call availability of radiology including CT, MRI and US.
24/7 Admin on call
24/7 Security in house
24/7 Hospitalist coverage 12 hours in house, 12 hours on-call telehealth
24/7 Tele-Intensivist coverage
EMR: EPIC
Licenses and Certifications: Oregon medical license and DEA, ABEM Board Certification*
PALS, ACLS, and ATLS are required
Credentialing Timeframe: Credentialing- 2-3 months
