Position Details:

Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months, with potential for ongoing work
Shift Details: Flexible scheduling
Day Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM
Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
12x12 hour block shifts per month (shifts may vary based on need)

Work Environment:

Patient Volume: 8-15 patients per day
Department Description: Provide comprehensive care for a range of acute concerns, from mild cases to complex emergencies
EMR System: Meditech
Facility Size: 25-bed hospital with 4 open ICU beds
Annual Patient Volume: Approximately 19,000
Supportive Administrative Team and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) on site during peak hours
Important Note: The Emergency Medicine Physician is the first line of defense for the community, requiring proficiency in all necessary procedures for stabilization and transfer/admission.

Requirements:

Board Certification: Must be ABEM certified
License Required: Active ND Medical License (may consider candidates needing licensure)
Certifications:
ACLS, PALS, BLS (ONLY from the American Heart Association)
ATLS (ONLY from the American College of Surgeons)
DEA: Yes, without restrictions
