Job description

Join us for an exciting locum tenens opportunity in North Dakota! We’re looking for a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to provide high-quality care in a supportive 25-bed hospital. This is a great chance to experience the rewarding locums lifestyle while making a real impact on patient care.

Position Details:

Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months, with the potential for ongoing work
Shift Details: Flexible scheduling
Day Shift: 7 AM - 7 PM
Night Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM
12x12 hour block shifts per month (shift dates may vary based on need and availability)

Work Environment:

Patient Volume: 8-15 patients per day
Department Description: Care for a diverse range of acute concerns, from mild to complex cases
EMR System: Meditech
Facility Size: 25 hospital beds with 4 open ICU beds
Annual Patient Volume: Approximately 14,000
Supportive Administrative Team and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) available during peak hours

Requirements:

Board Certification: Must be BC
License Required: Active ND Medical License
Certifications: ATLS and ACLS (must be AHA-certified)
DEA: Yes, without restrictions
