The facility maintains strong support services including 24-hour anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology, ensuring excellent patient care capabilities.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:
• Provide standard solo Emergency Room coverage for 12-hour shifts (7P-7A and 7A-7P rotations)
• Work alongside 1 physician with 2 mid-level providers in split coverage arrangement
• Manage high patient volume with annual volume of 32,000 patients
• Handle daily patient volume of 90-100 patients with physicians typically seeing 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift
• Must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS prior to assignment
• Utilize Meditech 6.1 EMR system
• Work with open ICU capabilities
• Access to 24-hour support services including anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology
• Must hold active North Carolina medical license or IMLC
• Board certification required
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 14 days
