· Annual Volume: Approx. 54,000
· Patient population/age: All ages
· Department description:
o 24-hour facility with state-of-the-art technology, including three major resuscitation rooms, two triage rooms, two pediatric treatment rooms, a 10-bed minor treatment area, and a decontamination room.
o ED Capacity: 18 beds
o Computerized Triage: The ED utilizes a computerized triage and tracking system to improve patient flow.
o In-Department Radiology: There's an in-department emergency radiology center to speed up the X-ray process.
· EMR: Epic
· Hospital bed size: 665
o Level 2 trauma center

Practice Setting:

Requirements:
· Board Certification: Required ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM
· License required: NC state license required
