North Carolina EM shifts

Job description

• Coverage Needed: - as soon as provider is credentialed, 7-12 shifts a month.
• Shifts are 7a-4p, 11a-8p, 5p-2a, and 10p-7a
• Required certifications if NOT EM trained (no exceptions): ACLS, ATLS & PALS
• Must have practiced Emergency Medicine in the last 12 months.
• 26-bed emergency department with 6 designated Psych beds
• 4-bed convenient care staffed by one Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant and an RN or Paramedic
• ECU Health Air and ECU Health Ground Support to immediately transfer patients
• EHR -EPIC
• 24-hour Hospitalist and Radiology coverage
• Procedures required: Suturing, assessments, radiology, lab and CT interpretation, foreign body removal, limited ophthalmology, muscular skeletal, infectious processes
