Emergency Medicine Physician needed in Rural Missouri! (ABEM Required)

Job description

• Coverage needed per month: 6-10 shifts per month

- 12 hour shifts
• Frequency of any Call needed: None
• Schedule Details: 8a-8p or 10a-10p
Work Details:
• Support staff: Yes, nurses, techs, etc. Will have 1 other physician on duty at all times, with 12 hours of APP coverage each day too
• Department Description: ER Level 3 Trauma – high acuity & volume
• Patient Volume: averaging 60 patients per day, up from 44 patients per day 2 years ago – with peaks of 70+ pts per day
• Patient Age Group: all ages

• Special Equipment Used: New POC is available in the ER, not required but available for use
Requirements:
• Board Certifications Req’d/Preferred: ABEM Required
• MO License required
Travel: airfare + facility-owned Executive housing adjacent to campus or hotel provided

• Fast credentialing
• 12 hours of APP coverage per day
• Days or Swing Shift
