Emergency Medicine Physician needed in Bolivar, MO.

Position Details:

Coverage Needed Per Month: Additional shift needed from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM, covered every day
Call Requirements: None
Schedule Details: 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM
Work Environment:

Support Staff: Yes, including nurses, techs, etc. You will have 1 other physician on duty at all times, with 12 hours of APP coverage each day.
Department Description: ER Level 3 Trauma – high acuity & volume
Patient Volume: Averaging 60 patients per day, up from 44 patients per day 2 years ago, with peaks of 70+ patients per day
Patient Age Group: All ages
EMR/Documentation System: Meditech Expanse (experience required or preferred)
Special Equipment: New POC available in the ER (not required but available)
Requirements:

Board Certification: BC required if out of training greater than 5 years. EM preferred, but FM or IM with solid ER experience will be considered.
State License: MO License required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ATLS if not EM trained
DEA: MO DEA required and MO BNDD required
Minimum Experience: Flexible
Vaccines: Mandatory unless exemption provided
Additional Screening: No late-career physicians or those coming out of retirement
Privileging Timeframe: Can expedite with a clean record; otherwise, 45-60 days
Willing to License: No
IMLC Accepted: No
