Shift times 8am-9pm or 7pm-8am
second coverage - Yes: 11a-9p on weekends and holidays
Thief has 2nd coverage by APP on the weekend and 6 major holidays
Annual ER volume 8,000 and growing
Volume breakdown: 667 ER visits monthly (10% emergent, 47% Urgent, 35% less Urgent, 8% non-urgent)
EMR is EPIC
In house Hospitalist always staffed. Hospitalists are responsible for admissions Sanford one call for e-backup available, Amwell for Neuro consults, Peds provider and general surgeon on call 24/7 Radiology in house 7am - 11pm (on call with 20 minute response time from 11pm - 7am) Transfers: Sanford Fargo or Altru in Grand Forks, ND
Facility is Level 4 trauma
Grand Forks ND, is the main transfer
Must have MN License and DEA
Board Certified or Board Eligible (ABMS- FM, IM, EM)
