QUALIFICATIONS:

License: The physician(s) assigned by the Contractor to perform the services covered by this contract shall have a current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia
Board Certification: All contract physician(s) shall be board certified/board eligible in Emergency Medicine and be
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Schedule: The ED operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, including Federal Holidays. Six (6) to eight (8) weeks of day/evenings for every two (2) weeks of nights. Weekends are scheduled approximately every fouth. [INSERT HOURS STATEMENT HERE (see comment) In the event of local or facility disaster, the contractor must be available to respond unless previously excused. During weekday/evening shifts, 1.0 FTEE emergency physician will cover 40 hours in one or scheduling variations. When on overnights, 1.0 FTEE emergency physician cover 3 x 12 hours shifts and 1 x 4 hour administrative period per week. Shift times, lengths and scheduling patterns are subject to change based on Service needs as determined by the Chief of Staff or designee and at the sole discretion of the agency..
