Emergency Medicine physicians needed for a Southern Michigan ER locums opportunity through Sound. This is an ongoing need starting August 2026 with temp privileges available.

Rate: $280/hr

Trauma Level: Level 3
Annual Volume: About 28k
Admission Rate: 8.6 percent
EMR: Epic
EMR Training: Virtual Epic training required before privileges
Monthly Need: About 42 shifts per month
Daily Coverage: Day MD 7a to 7p, second day MD 12p to 10p, day APP 11a to 11p, night MD 7p to 7a
Orientation: 1 to 2 shadow shifts required
Credentialing: About 90 days after application submission
Temp Privileges: Available

Requirements:
ABEM only
Active MI license required
BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
Procedures required
Must complete virtual Epic training before privileges are issued
