Facility in Springfield, MA seeking Emergency Medicine locums coverage Rates: $325/hr Start Date: June 2025 (as soon as credentialed) Job Type: Locum Tenens | Full Travel Provided Shifts: Focus on Nights in June; Days and Nights Available July Onward Position Details Start Date: June 2025 Shifts per Month: June: 8–10 shifts (Nights prioritized) July onward: Consistent 10–12 shifts/month (Day & Night) Shift Types: 12-hour shifts, day and night Annual ER Volume: 55,000 ED Beds: 44 Fast Track: Yes (40% of ED volume), APP-staffed Hospital Admissions from ED: 15% ED Transfers per Day: 1–2 patients EMR: Epic Supervision of APPs: Required Credentialing Timeframe: ~4 weeks Facility Resources Trauma Level: None (Community Hospital) Support Services Available 24/7: Radiology (CT, MRI, X-Ray) Laboratory & Blood Bank (AABB Certified) Operating Room & Anesthesia Full Consultant Coverage (Cardiology, GI, Pulm, Neuro, Urology, Psych, etc.) Hospitalists Write Admission Orders On-Call Physician Response Time: ≤ 30 minutes EKGs Interpreted by EM Physicians Transfers: Primary to Saint Francis Hospital, ~20–30 min Requirements Board Certified or Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM; BE within 5 years of residency) Active Massachusetts License – Required Interest in days, nights, or both – Please specify Clean credentialing file preferred
