Job description

Emergency Medicine physician needed for a North Louisiana ER locums opportunity through SCP. This is a hospital based ER need with day and night coverage, APP support, and expedited credentialing possible.

Opportunity Details:
Rate: $315/hr
Setting: Hospital based Emergency Department
Location: North Louisiana
Annual Volume: About 20k
Daily Volume: About 57 patients per day
EMR: Epic
Physician Shifts: 6a to 6p and 6p to 6a
APP Coverage: 10a to 10p daily
Schedule Need: Days and nights
Credentialing: 90 days
Expedited Credentialing: Possible in about 30 days with clean file
Backup: Limited backup specialties on site
Transfers: Higher acuity transfers go to larger sister hospital

Requirements:
BC or BE Emergency Medicine preferred
BC Family Medicine or Internal Medicine may be considered with ED experience
ATLS and ACLS not required for EM boarded physicians
ATLS and ACLS required for FM or IM trained physicians
Active LA license preferred
Must be open to day and night coverage
