Job description

Emergency Medicine physicians needed for a South Louisiana ER locums opportunity. This is a hospital based ER need with 12 hour shifts, day and night coverage, and support from APP coverage.

Opportunity Details:
Rate: $300/hr
Setting: Hospital based Emergency Department
Location: South Louisiana
Shift Length: 12 hour shifts
Schedule: Days and nights
Annual Volume: Main campus about 75k, south campus about 45k
EMR: Cerner
APP Coverage: Main campus has 12 hours daily
South Campus APP Coverage: Monday through Friday, 2p to 10p
Travel: Lodging and mileage covered
Credentialing: 60 to 90 days
Procedures: Must be able to perform Level 3 ER procedures

Requirements:
BC in Emergency Medicine preferred
FM or IM may be considered
Active LA license required
ATLS required
NIH Stroke Scale preferred
Must be open to days and nights
Must be comfortable with Level 3 ER procedures
