Emergency Medicine Physician needed in Bossier City, Louisiana!

Start Date: As soon as credentialed
Contract Length: 6+ months
Shift Details: 6a-6p & 6p-6a daily
Schedule: Provider should be available for days, nights and weekend coverage
Work Details:
• Support Staff: 10 hours of NP/PA coverage 10a-8p daily
• Patients per day: About 52/day. About 19,000 patients Annual Volume
• Patient Population/Age: All ages
• Department Description: Bossier sees lower volume and lower acuity compared to Highland. No sub-specialties on site at Bossier; transfers go to Highland
• EMR: MediTech
• Special Procedures:
• Skills Required: Must have completed EM residency
Practice Setting:
• Hospital
Requirements:
• Board Certification: BC/BE, must be EM residency trained.
• License Required: Active LA license, No IMLC candidates will be considered at this time.
• DEA: Required
• Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS, BLS
• Minimum Experience Required: 1 Year
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days. Expedited credentialing (30+ days) is doable.
