Clinical Emergency Medicine Physician Need in Northern/Central Louisiana

Job description

-Need 1 or 2 Emergency Medicine Physicians
-Board Certified (ABEM) or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
-Will consider a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Doc with EM experience of at least 2 years.
-Procedures: Central Lines, Intubations
-Provisional Level 3
-Certifications: DEA, BLS, ATLS, ACLS (If physician is board certified or ABEM won’t need an ATLS cert)
-At least 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience or needs to somewhat be established
-Client will consider either one physician who can do 12-14 shifts/month or two physicians who can split that load and do 6-8 shifts/month
-12 HR Shifts of 7A-7P, 10A-10P or 7P-7A (highest need)
-50,000 Volume ED
-36 HRs of Physician Coverage
-48 HRs of Scribe Coverage
-Support Staff: Collaborating EM Physicians, Mid-levels and Supervising MD (Additional Medical Staff Resources on call as well)
-EMR=EPIC
-Start: ASAP (Ongoing month to month)

-T&L will be taken care of by client (Hotel, Rental Car and Airfare)
