EMERGENCY MEDICINE PHYSICIAN – LOCUM OPPORTUNITY

✓ Open Shift Coverage: Approximately 15 shifts/month
✓ Shift Length: 9- & 12-hour shifts
✓ No Call
✓ EMR: Epic
✓ Setting: Emergency Department
✓ Trauma: Level III
✓ Hospital: 250 beds
✓ Annual ED Visits: ~33,000
✓ Peak Hours: 11 AM–11 PM
✓ Transfer Rate: <3%
✓ Teaching Hospital

SCHEDULE

✓ Multiple open shifts available from November 2026 through January 2027
✓ First come, first served
✓ Client is seeking providers who can cover a significant number of open shifts

REQUIREMENTS

✓ ABEM Board Certified – Required
✓ Active Iowa License or IMLC – Required
✓ ATLS – Required for trauma privileges
✓ Clean background
✓ Ability to credential quickly; 10-year work history required for credentialing
✓ Must be able to cover a significant number of listed shifts

ADDITIONAL

✓ ED physician coverage
✓ 1–2 physicians cover days; 1 physician covers nights
✓ 1–2 APPs with physician supervision
✓ No inpatient responsibilities or outreach
