Emergency Medicine physicians needed for an Iowa ER locums opportunity through SCP. This is a hospital based ER setting with strong APP support, Level 2 trauma designation, and ongoing coverage needs.

Rate: $315/hr

Annual Volume: About 30k
Trauma Level: Level 2
Hospital Size: 484 licensed beds
Physician Coverage: 24 hours daily
APP Coverage: 30 hours daily
EMR: Cerner
Call: No call
Support: Collegial collaboration with hospital medicine program also managed by SCP
EMR Training: In person EMR training required prior to first shift
Credentialing: Must have privileges before EMR training

Requirements:
Active IA license
IA address DEA and CDS
BC in ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, or osteopathic counterparts
Residency trained in specialty
ACLS, ATLS, and PALS required
If ABEM, current ACLS and one time proof of ATLS required
CME from past 2 years
Case logs from past 2 years
Copies of education and training diplomas
TB, flu, Hep B, MMR, and varicella immunization records
