Location: A city in northern Iowa, Located two hours north of Des Moines and two hours south of Minneapolis! Facility: A private, not-for-profit health care center, licensed for 346 beds, which serves more than 400,000 inpatients and outpatients each year. This medical center offers a variety of services. Opportunity: Looking for an Emergency Medicine Physician to fill their Locum need! Schedule: Open FTE = Open shift coverage Shift length: 9- & 12-hour shifts No call! Inpatient Responsibilities: No Outreach: No Number of Physicians: 1-2 Physician coverage day hours. 1 Physician coverage night hours. Number of Advanced Practice Providers: 1-2 Supervision of APP(s) expected: Yes Clinic Provider Daily Volume: ED Volume average 77 patients per day Job Responsibilities: ED Physician coverage EMR: Cerner Powerchart until June then EPIC Teaching Opportunity: teaching hospital Trauma Level 3 250 beds 33,000 annual visits Peak shifts/busiest is during 11a-11p Transfer out less than 3% of patients 60-90 days for privileging Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included
