Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine physician to provide coverage for 25-30 shifts per month in our busy hospital setting, which sees approximately 71 patients per day and 26,000 annually.

Work Details:

Support Staff: 30-hour APP coverage
Practice Setting: Hospital (Level 3 Trauma Center)
EMR System: Cerner
Hospital Bed Size: 366
Patient Population: All ages
Special Procedures: Level 3 Trauma

Requirements:

Board Certification: ABEM, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine
License Required: Active Iowa License or IMLC
DEA Registration: Required
Certifications Required: ACLS, ATLS
Preferred Certification: PALS
Minimum Experience: 1 year in emergency medicine
