Job description

Emergency Medicine physicians needed for an Indiana ER locums opportunity through SCP. This is a hospital based emergency department with strong physician coverage, APP support, scribe support, and advanced trauma capabilities.

Opportunity Details:
Rate: $325/hr
Setting: Hospital based Emergency Department
Location: Indiana
Annual Volume: About 50k
Trauma Level: Level 3
ED Beds: 33 bed Emergency Department
Trauma Bays: 3 trauma bays
Cardiac Monitoring: 13 cardiac monitor beds
Physician Coverage: 37 hours daily
APP Coverage: 36 hours daily
Support: Scribe support provided
Specialty Rooms: ENT, orthopedics, GYN, and other specialty care rooms
Procedures: Moderate sedation and core EM procedures
Case Logs: Past 2 years required
CME: CME attestation required during application process

Requirements:
ABEM or AOBEM
Current ABMS recognized specialty may be considered with at least 5 years continuous full time experience in a high volume ER over 30k annual visits
Recent EM residency graduates within the past 12 months may be considered
Active unrestricted IN license
IN controlled substance registration
DEA with IN address and schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, and 4
BLS required
Flu, TB or chest X ray if positive TB, and COVID vaccination documentation
10 year claims history required
