Emergency Medicine Physician Need in Northern Indiana for the Spring!

We are working closely with a client in Northern Indiana needing immediate Emergency Medicine Coverage at several of their sites. Please see details below!

Shift Times/Requirements:
All 12s - Days and Swings
Minimum of 6 shifts per month

Credentialing Timeframe - 90 days

• Patients per day: 30-50 depending on the location
• Annual Volume: Average of 10,000-23,000 annual patient visits per emergency department
• Trauma Level: All locations are level III
• Patient population/age: All ages
• EMR: EPIC
• Skills required: Physician will manage multiple patients both with serious and non-serious illnesses and injuries including heart attacks, stroke, motor vehicle accidents, severe infections, and pneumonia, and perform assessments, diagnostic procedures, and medical treatments as needed to resuscitate or stabilize patients and refer them to the appropriate medical departments.

• Requirements: ATLS / ACLS / PALS (ATLS and PALS not required for ABEM)
• Board Certification: BC EM and FM, (ABPS EM and FM also accepted) BE is not accepted.
