Join Our Team: Emergency Medicine Physician Needed in LaGrange, Indiana

Minimum Shifts Required: 6 shifts per month (24 hour shifts available)
Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years

We are looking for a dedicated Emergency Medicine physician to join our team in LaGrange, Indiana. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide high-quality care in a supportive hospital environment!

Position Overview: You’ll have the flexibility to choose between 8-12 shifts per month, with a minimum commitment of 6 shifts. Your expertise will play a crucial role in a facility that sees approximately 11,000 patients annually.

Work Details:

Support Staff: Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Hospitalist Coverage: 24-hour coverage for admissions
Radiology Services: 24-hour real-time reading of all studies; in-house X-ray and CT with ultrasound on call at night
Patients Per Day: Approximately 30
Trauma Level: All locations are Level II
Patient Population: All ages
EMR System: EPIC

Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple patients with serious and non-serious illnesses and injuries, including heart attacks, strokes, motor vehicle accidents, severe infections, and pneumonia.
Perform assessments, diagnostic procedures, and medical treatments as needed to stabilize patients.
Refer patients to the appropriate medical departments when necessary.
Practice Setting: Hospital (credentialing at 5 locations with one streamlined process)
