Urgent Care Physician Needed in Milwaukee Area

Job description

Candidate must have a current WI license or working on obtaining one already.
*8 hour shifts
Shift times include: Days, nights, swing Basic schedule: 7a-3p, 3p-11p and a swing shift APP covers from 10a-8p No call
Multiple Urgent Care locations throughout Milwaukee, WI
The Position is Urgent Care MD
Case mix/types of cases: Higher acuity, stat labs, CT ultrasounds, regular radiology
Procedures required: Comfortable with abdominal pain, abscesses, complex No ED coverage required No trauma coverage required
Average Daily Census: 20-45
Must be comfortable seeing pediatrics; 20% of total volume
Subspecialty Support: Yes
EMR: EPIC
Need full state license and own DEA
Candidates must be BC or BE with training in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine or Med Peds only (No IM)
Approved travel: Air, hotel, rental, mileage
Credentialing: 30-45 days; candidate can start once credentialed
Orientation information: 1-2 days with EPIC training on every other Monday (this is required to start)

• Weekdays and weekend urgent care shifts
• Must be comfortable with seeing all ages and suturing
