2 EM MD/DOs needed (N. Ga, close to GA/TN/NC border)

Job description

• Degree/Specialty: Emergency Medicine MD/DO
• Setting: Inpatient
• Call: No Call
• Volume: 28/day (75% day shift, 25% night)
• Support Staff: Nurses, max 4 during day, down to 2 after 11pm
• Procedures: essentially stand-alone ED and need to be proficient in all common EM procedures: Central Line, Chest tube, Intubation, Fracture Reduction and Splinting, etc.
• Radiology: Must be able to interpret plain films.
• C/T: 24/7 with reads
• POC U/S: Linear probe only so limited ability
