Job description

Emergency Medicine physicians needed for a Central Florida ER locums opportunity. This need includes coverage at a main hospital campus and affiliated freestanding ER sites. Providers should be flexible for days, nights, and weekends.

Opportunity Details:
Rate: $285/hr
Setting: Main hospital ER and affiliated freestanding ERs
Location: Central Florida
Need: Equivalent of 2 full time physicians
Annual Volume: Freestanding site about 9k
ER Bays: 12 emergency room bays
Trauma Bay: Fully equipped trauma bay
Pediatric Support: Separate pediatric waiting area, triage, and dedicated pediatric bay
Imaging: CT, ultrasound, and radiology
Support: Integrated with main hospital campus, with care handoff to intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists when admission is needed
Shift Length: Main hospital may consider shorter shifts, affiliated freestanding ERs require 12 hour shifts
Schedule: Days, nights, and weekends
Additional Coverage: Must be open to main hospital and affiliated freestanding ER coverage
Interview: Site directors will phone interview potential locum providers

Requirements:
ABEM or AOBEM preferred
Non EM boarded physicians need at least 3 years of EM experience for credentialing
Active FL license preferred
Must be flexible for days, nights, and weekends
Must be open to main hospital and affiliated freestanding ER coverage
