Job description

Emergency Medicine physicians needed for a coastal Southwest Florida ER locums opportunity. This is a 3 month assignment with ongoing coverage needs. Providers must be willing to work at the main hospital ED as well as associated freestanding ER sites.

Opportunity Details:
Rate: $285/hr
Setting: Main hospital ER and affiliated freestanding ERs
Location: Coastal Southwest Florida
Assignment Length: 3 months, ongoing
Annual Volume: About 35k
ED Beds: 20
EMR: Meditech P doc and M Modal Dictation
Imaging: ED ultrasound and fully integrated PACS system
Support: Strong nursing staff and exceptional medical staff backup
Admitting Orders: ED physicians do not write admitting orders
Additional Coverage: Must be willing to work at associated freestanding ER sites
Lifestyle Notes: Coastal Florida area with golf, tennis, pickleball, lower cost of living, and no state income tax

Requirements:
Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine
ABPS EM boarded physicians may be considered with completed residency or fellowship
ACLS and PALS required
Active FL license preferred
Must be open to main hospital and affiliated freestanding ER coverage
