What’s the schedule? On-site, call coverage, weekends, nights – MD: 44 hrs/day, APP: 42 hrs/day
Are there specific dates needed?
If call is involved, what is call volume? How often do they get called back on-site?
Call/Rotation schedule?
Will they take an APP (or SFA when applicable)? No
Who should be the timesheet approver each week? Scheduler, Krystal Stewart
EMR is Epic PDoc
What are expectations for orientation? (ie, shadow day? EMR training?) Orientation at the facility to include EMR, additional Shadow Day
Any specific fellowships/ certifications/ procedures/ competencies we are looking for?
Will emergency privileges be an option? Unknown, possible
Are case logs needed? If so, what are the requirements?
ABEM
Number of beds? 30-bed ED, ­5-bed Fast Track and 2 Trauma Bay Rooms
Are there any consults and if so, how many per day?
What’s the patient population?
Trauma center? Types of cases? Acuity? Level 2 Trauma,
What does the support staff look like?
How will follow up cases be handled? (when applicable- inpatient or outpatient)
What does support staff include?- Stellar subspecialty backup due to trauma designation
Trauma surgeons and anesthesia in-house 24/7
Meditech Pdoc EMR
M Modal Voice Dictation
Academic focus with IM residents and medical students
Must be willing to work at FSED's associated with main facility
