Emergency Medicine Physician Needed in Petaluma, CA!

Job description

Join a dynamic healthcare team in beautiful Petaluma, California! We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to provide exceptional care in our emergency department.

Position Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: Ongoing
Hours Required: 160 hours per month
Minimum Shifts: 3 consecutive shifts

Qualifications:
Certification: ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABPS, and other board certifications, including those board eligible with significant Emergency Medicine experience.
Residency Training: Candidates must be trained in their boarded specialty.
Required Certifications: ACLS and PALS are mandatory for all providers, including EM specialists.

Facility Information:
Annual Volume: 18,000 patients
Patients per Shift: 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift
ED Beds: 12-bed emergency department
Backup Specialties: Surgery, hospitalists, ortho, limited GI/Urology/ENT support
EMR System: EPIC

Shift Times:
Day Shifts: 7 AM - 7 PM, 7 AM - 5 PM, 1 PM - 11 PM
Night Shifts: 7 PM - 7 AM, 9 PM - 7 AM

Additional Information:
APP Supervision: On-duty ED physicians are expected to co-sign APP charts.
Travel & Lodging: Lodging provided for traveling physicians.
Privileging Timeframe: Quick turnaround for privileging process.

Requirements:
An active California state license is required to proceed with the application.
