Job description

We are currently seeking experienced Emergency Medicine physicians for a locums assignment in Ukiah, CA. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule, competitive compensation, and the chance to work in a supportive hospital environment. The ideal candidate will be board-certified and possess an active California medical license.

Key Details:

Start Date: ASAP (once credentialed)
Assignment Length: Ongoing until permanent positions are filled
Shift Schedule: 9-hour shifts
Minimum Shifts Required: 6-10 shifts per month
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) System: Cerner
Board Certification: ABEM required for most locations; Family Medicine physicians with emergency medicine experience may be considered at specific locations
License: Active California medical license required
Setting: Hospital Emergency Department – provider will be assigned to one location per assignment
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-120 days, processed through the same health system

Location 3: Ukiah, CA
Estimated Annual ED Visits: 32,850
Estimated Daily ED Visits: 90
Midlevel Practitioner Coverage: 1 Midlevel Practitioner
Board Certification: ABEM only
Specialty Backups: Available

Location 2: Fort Bragg, CA
Estimated Annual ED Visits: 10,950
Midlevel Practitioner Coverage: None
Board Certification: ABEM preferred; Family Medicine accepted with ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications

Location 3: Willits, CA
Estimated Annual ED Visits: 14,600
Estimated Daily ED Visits: 40
Midlevel Practitioner Coverage: None
Specialty Backups: Available
Board Certification: ABEM preferred; Family Medicine accepted with ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications
