This healthcare facility provides comprehensive emergency medical services to the community with a 10-bed emergency department. The facility operates as a Level 3 trauma center with strong support services and maintains excellent standards for emergency care delivery.

Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Emergency Medicine

Job Details:
• Handle approximately 50 patient encounters per shift in a 10-bed emergency department
• Work at a Level 3 trauma facility with comprehensive emergency medicine services
• 24-hour support services available including anesthesia, general surgery, laboratory, orthopedic surgery, and radiology
• OR response time available for emergency surgical cases
• Labor and delivery department on-site but newborn deliveries are not received in the ED
• Must maintain active Alabama medical license
• Board certification not required but preferred
• Required certifications include ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days
• Lodging available at Holiday Inn Express with corporate rates
• Fort Walton airport is the nearest major airport for travel
• Start date: June 15, 2026 with ongoing coverage needs

Compensation:
