Position Overview
We are looking for a qualified Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Emergency Medicine to join our team for a short-term contract. This is a one-month position starting on July 2024, with potential variability in the start date. The ideal candidate will work 24-hour shifts with the possibility of 12-hour shifts upon negotiation. This role involves strictly Emergency Department responsibilities with no patient rounding.

Department Description:
Strict ED responsibilities
No rounding on patients
APP and specialty backups available
Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System: Meditech Enhance

Skills and Requirements
Board Certification: Required
Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience as a PA in Emergency Medicine
Emergency privileges can be granted within 2 weeks
License: Active WA license required
Certifications:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Practice Setting
Environment:
Hospital - Level 4 Trauma Center
Annual Volume: 4500
