Looking for Emergency Medicine locum tenens opportunities in Pennsylvania?

• PAs ONLY, job cannot accept NPs.
• Must be LOCAL ENOUGH TO DRIVE - 1.5 hrs East of Pittsburgh
• Night Coverage (7p-7a) to cover 4-6 shifts per month with potential for day shifts to be added
• *ATLS not required.
• *ACLS, BLS and PALS - must be through AHA or Red Cross. MUST BE STROKE CERTIFIED
• *typically day See patients, perform some administrative tasks (radiology review, blood work review when needed although generally performed by employed staff)
• PAs are expected to see any patient complaint but are not expected to perform invasive procedures such as central lines, intubation, lumbar puncture. There aren't any patients that the APP isn't "allowed" to see but in general the attending will see the critically ill patients and evaluate STEMI/Stroke patients while the PA is expected to see the minor complaint patients and perform minor procedures including lacerations/I&D etc.
• Credentialing: 90 days - Full and Temp Privilege's offered
