Critical Care / Acute Care APP needed in Houston, TX!

Job description

• Ongoing until perm is hired
• Willing to take multiple APPs to fill all shifts
• Shifts - 6:30p – 7:00a and 6:30a – 7:00p
• Active TX license required
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, DEA. BC
• If provider doesn't have NIHSS (Stroke Cert), client highly prefers candidate obtain before starting
• EMR: EPIC
• Local provider preferred, but willing to accommodate T&L for TX providers.
• Patients per day: Est. 3 Rapid Response and 5 ED admissions
• Working with 24/7 intensivists and 2 other NPs
• Needs to have experience and be able to respond to codes, specifically blue
• Client should be able to approve temp privileges
• 350 bed facility
