🧑‍⚕️Locums Emergency Medicine PA/NP Needed in Onamia, MN

Job description

Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
Shift Details: Noon start (open to 8, 9, or 10hr shifts)

Work Details:
• Support staff: 24/hr MD support on site or within 5 min drive. For mid Shift there will be another PA on site.
• What specialties are available for backup? 1 FM Doc, 1 ED Doc, Vel Telemedicine, Cardiology (Telehealth), Stroke support through (Telehealth)
• Inhouse ambulance transfers as well as Helipad to trauma center.
• Patients per day: 20-30 pts per day
• Patient population/age: All ages Peds to Geriatric. 6 babies born in the last 6 months
• Department description: ED: Critical Access with Trauma Level 4 (7 rooms. 2 Trauma bays that can take 4 patients each)
• EMR: Athena in clinic (might use), Medhost and EDIS (Mostly EDIS) Willing to train on those.
• Hospital bed size: 57 beds
• Skills required: Emergency ultrasound experience required

Requirements:
• Board Certification: Yes
• License required: MN
• DEA: Yes
• Certifications preferred: PALS and APLS
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, ATLS or CALS.
• Minimum experience required: 3 years minimum of Emergency Medicine Exp
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
