Job description

🌊 Locum Urgent Care Opportunity – Nantucket, Massachusetts 🌊

Spend your assignment on one of New England's most beautiful islands while practicing in a fast-paced, patient-focused urgent care setting.

📍 Location: Nantucket, MA
📅 Start Date: July 2026
📆 Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
⏳ Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 Days

Schedule

• Preferred schedule is 4x10-hour shifts (Tuesday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM)
• Approximately 2 weekends per month required
• 40-hour work week consisting of a blend of weekday and weekend shifts
• Weekday shifts are 10 hours; weekend shifts are 8 hours
• Schedule will vary week to week based on coverage needs

Practice Details

• Urgent Care setting
• EMR: Epic
• Adult patient population (18+)
• Average daily census: 32 patients
• Approximately 32 patient-facing hours and 8 administrative hours per week

Requirements

✅ Board Certified Provider with Urgent Care experience
✅ Active Massachusetts License Required
✅ BLS Certification Required
✅ DEA Required
✅ Minimum of 1 year of Urgent Care experience

Additional Information

• Not willing to license
• Client-provided travel assistance includes:
• Ferry transportation to and from Nantucket
• Mileage reimbursement to and from the ferry terminal
• Ferry parking
• Uber transportation on the island
