26-week assignment with the option to extend
Schedule: Full time, 5x8, days & nights, MUST be willing to work 4 weekend shifts per month(Friday night, Saturday day/night, Sunday day/night)
Work Details:
• Support staff:
• Amount of coverage needed per month: full time
• Patients per day: 20-25 split with resident on floor, 20 patients in clinic per day. APP will work clinic about 2x/week. Will work on 5-12 activations
• Patient population/age: all, usually 15-101
• Department description: Busiest trauma center in the Bay Area. APP serves patients from ED to floor to ICU and more. APP needs to be willing to help in all areas and see critically ill patients from ED to floor. APP needs to give care to injured patients in all forms.
• EMR: EPIC
• Skills required: Familiar with trauma and ED patients; Management of shock, ACS, stroke, neurosurgery, ortho exp plus

Requirements:
• Board Certification:
• License required: Yes, CA
• DEA: Yes, CA
• Certifications preferred: ATLS - MUST BE WILLING TO GET AN ATLS WITHIN A YEAR OF STARTING
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
• Minimum experience required: Must have at least 1 year experience in trauma
Level 1 trauma exp strongly preferred
Strongly prefer someone with art lines and central lines, chest tubes experience
Exp in ICU huge plus
Willing to consider experience in neurosurgery, ICU, ED, Ortho
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
