Diagnostic Radiology
Job ID: ORD-187837-MD-IN
A facility that is part of a larger health system is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist for locum tenens coverage.
The facility is located in Indiana.
This role primarily involves diagnostic imaging, including fluoroscopy and light interventional radiology (IR) procedures such as paracentesis (about 1 per day), thoracentesis (1 every other week on average), lumbar punctures (a few each week), and thyroid FNA/biopsies (1 per day). The position does not require an IR fellowship. The locum radiologist will initially read X-rays, ultrasounds, and perform fluoroscopy/IR studies, followed by CT/MRI if time allows. The department is supported by leadership and PACS administration on-site, and the facility is a Level III trauma center.
