Job description

Specialty: Cardiovascular Critical Care NP

Start Date: February 2025

Contract Length: 6 months

Schedule/Hours: 15 shifts per month--primarily nights/weekends--- but may rotate to days or swing shift
Support staff: 1 MD in Unit during the day---MD on call overnight. APP support? – 2 other APP’s in staffing

Setting: ICU

EMR/Charting Software: epic

Avg. Daily Census: 10-15 per locum

Beds: 650

Cases/Procedures: Working in Cardiovascular Critical Care unti and a Cardiovascular Medical ICU. seeing all types of Cardiovascular medicine, STEMI, Heart Failure, etc. Experience with central line placements, intubations, and ECMO


Board Certifications: NCCPA or Acute Care NP

State License(s): GA

Years of Experience Req’d: minimum 2 years in critical care as an APP

Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days
