ASSIGNMENT DETAILS: JO# 2772494
• Location: Augusta, GA
• Target Start: End of April
• Length of commitment: 3-6 months with the option to extend
• Schedule: 7 days per month (1 week)
• Shifts: (7a-3p) with evening call
• Department Details: Coverage for Emergency Dept, Inpatient consults and emergency procedures at hospital from (7a-3p). Then take Clinic call (7p-7a) for the clinic patients that may have an emergency. Calls are 0-3
• Support staff: 1 physician on call—no APP-there are 3 physicians in the practice that will be available in the clinic or from OR if support needed
• Practice Setting: hospital while taking call for clinic patients
• EMR/Charting Software: epic
• Avg. Daily Census: 12-15/day (consults and procedures)
• Beds: 400
• Patient Age Group: adult
• Procedures: Colorectal Surgeons --Lower abdominal/digestive tract procedures-colonoscopies, colon resections, etc—
• Required: Board Certified, ACLS, BLS, DEA, Active GA license or ILMC
• Travel, lodging and malpractice covered

• One Week Per Month
