Overview:

Laboratory is CAP accredited offering specialized testing, lab automation, and state of the art equipment.

The lab offers cross training opportunities and the opportunity to be part of cross-function process improvement teams. In Fiscal Year 2021, the lab performed 4.2 million tests. The department consists of over 190 medical laboratory professionals. Lab offers opportunities for advancement and continued career growth (including career advancement ladders for Phlebotomists and Lab Assistants).

Responsibilities:

Responsible for daily supervision of activities associated with Hospital’s Pathology and Clinical Laboratory Services.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in clinical/medical laboratory science – OR – Bachelor’s in some other field of study AND completion of a Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science program

Experience:

Seeking strong chemistry background

Certification and Licensure

ASCP or AMT Registration

2+ to 5 year’s experience

• ASCP or AMT Registration
