Responsibilities:

Conduct routine and complex laboratory tests on blood, urine, and other body fluids under the guidance of medical technologists or laboratory managers.
Prepare specimens for analysis and ensure accurate labeling and documentation.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as microscopes, centrifuges, and analyzers.
Follow established protocols and safety procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Analyze test results and report findings to healthcare providers in a timely and accurate manner.
Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures and protocols.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care and continuity of services.
Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay updated on the latest developments in laboratory technology and procedures.
Provide guidance and support to laboratory assistants and other staff members as needed.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of job performance.
Qualifications:

Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician from a recognized accrediting agency (e.g., ASCP, AMT) preferred.
Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory setting preferred.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
